1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing this website, purchasing, booking, or participating in any service, event, retreat, coaching container, or digital offering provided by Goldenfeather Alchemy (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use this website or engage in our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

2. Nature of Services

Goldenfeather Alchemy provides personal development services including but not limited to:

• 1:1 coaching

• Group coaching

• Facilitation

• Somatic and embodiment sessions

• Retreats and in-person events

• Workshops and masterclasses

• Digital programs and resources

All services are educational, experiential, and self-development based in nature.

They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, counselling, or therapeutic services.

Nothing provided constitutes medical or mental health advice. You agree to seek appropriate licensed healthcare support where required.

Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.

3. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Where services are supplied for personal use, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where services are purchased for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, as permitted under section 43 of that Act.

4. Fair Trading Act 1986

We comply with the Fair Trading Act 1986 and do not make misleading or deceptive claims about outcomes.

However, you acknowledge that personal development results vary and no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes.

5. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

By participating in any offering, you acknowledge and agree:

• You are responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

• Somatic, embodiment, and nervous system practices may activate emotional or physical responses.

• You will participate within your own limits.

• You will disclose any relevant medical or psychological conditions prior to participation.

To the fullest extent permitted under New Zealand law, Goldenfeather Alchemy is not liable for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation except where liability cannot be excluded under law.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Credit or debit card

• Stripe

• Online payment processors

• Approved payment plans

Payment must be received in full (or first instalment under a payment plan) before access to services is granted.

We reserve the right to refuse service where payment has not been received.

7. Payment Plans

Where payment plans are offered:

• You are legally responsible for completing all instalments.

• Payments are automatically processed on agreed dates.

• Failure to complete payments may result in immediate suspension of access.

• Outstanding balances may be referred for debt recovery.

Entering a payment plan is a binding financial commitment.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of personal development, embodiment, coaching, retreats, and digital services:

All sales are final.

We do not offer refunds for:

• Coaching sessions

• Group programs

• Masterclasses

• Digital products

• Retreat deposits

• Missed sessions

• Change of mind

• Scheduling conflicts

This policy complies with New Zealand consumer law, as services are considered delivered upon access being granted or time being reserved.

Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

9. Retreats & In-Person Events

Retreat deposits are non-refundable.

If you cancel attendance:

• Payments made are non-refundable.

• Transfers may be permitted at our discretion.

• Travel, accommodation, and insurance are your responsibility.

If we cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive either:

• A full refund of payments made, or

• A transfer credit to a future event

We are not responsible for third-party costs (flights, accommodation, etc.).

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to attend.

10. Health & Safety at Work Act 2015

Goldenfeather Alchemy takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment at in-person events.

You agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions.

• Act responsibly.

• Inform us of any health concerns.

Participation is at your own risk.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, frameworks, recordings, teachings, downloads, and processes remain the intellectual property of Goldenfeather Alchemy.

You may not:

• Copy or reproduce materials

• Record sessions without permission

• Share login details

• Republish or teach materials

• Use content for commercial purposes

Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

12. Confidentiality

We respect your confidentiality.

However:

• Group programs cannot guarantee confidentiality from other participants.

• You are responsible for what you choose to share.

• We may use anonymised testimonials with written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Goldenfeather Alchemy is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss

• Business or financial decisions

• Emotional distress

• Personal relationship outcomes

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

14. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website unlawfully

• Attempt unauthorised access

• Interfere with site functionality

• Upload harmful code

We reserve the right to restrict access if misuse occurs.
